Meet the Team


libbyLibby hails from the cold, mean streets of Michigan. She migrated South to Charleston in 2008 where she began to train profesionally as a Pastry Chef and all around queen of baked goods at the Charleston Culinary Institute. She has since graduated from the Culinary Institute, met and married the love of her life, Jeffrey Clarke, adopted an adorable pit bull named Enzo and settled in to make Charleston her home.

Professionally, Libby has held various positions in some well known and highly reviewed Lowcountry restaurants – MOSAIC Cafe, Sesame Burgers and Beer, Reds on the River, Farringdon’s Bistro Pub, Bakehouse of Charleston and Burton’s Grill in Mount Pleasant. She is currently manager at Haypenny Confections where she helps bring new life to a classic treat with delicious homemade marshmallows and grahams.
